Design
We make the most of your available space, there are many different types of loft conversions from the roof-light conversion, to every type of dormer, curb roof, flat roof, and pitched roof. Minimum Disruption
We fit scaffolds directly to the roof height which allows the entry of most materials via this route. We leave the stairs construction to the later stages of the project to reduce the daily disruption.

1. Is my loft suitable for conversion?
It is not always feasible or practical to convert some lofts, a site visit can quickly establish weather the necessary height in your loft is suitable for conversion. Apex Attics offer a FREE feasibility study to potential customers, this involves a visit from one of our surveyors. Please contact us to arrange a visit.
2. What about Planning Permission do I need it?
In most cases Loft Conversions do not require Planning Permission. A Loft Conversion can be built under Permitted Development Rights. Once Apex Attics have fully assessed your property we can then give you a more formal decision.
3. What types of building work do you do?
Apex Attics specialise in loft and roof conversions, we have also undertaken many forms of buildings jobs form small single story extensions to large multistory building projects, get in touch to discuss your project.
4. What insurance do you have to carry out the work on my property?
As professional builders working in the trade for over 20 years, both the company and all our subcontracted tradesmen have full public liability insurance.
5. How long will my loft conversion take?
Typically, a loft conversion will take 2 to 3 weeks to finish. If we anticipate any delays, for whatever reason, we will communicate it in good time.
6. Will we need to move out during construction?
No. Most of the work will be done from the outside until we fit the staircase and by this time the structure will be fully secured.
7. Are your workmen fully trained?
All out workmen are very experienced having worked with us on many projects and they are very professional in all the work they do. Our electricians are all Registered Electrical Contractors (RECs) and our plumbers are RGI Certified .
